چکیده

Particleboard is a product of wood technology engineering made particles and other lignocellulosic materials which are bonded with synthetic adhesives. As an information, utilization natural adhesive for particleboard still limited. This study aimed to determine the influence hybrid from citric acid sucrose properties composed Sengon veener by-products sorghum stalk. The content used was 15% 25% that calculated dry weight particles. mixture ratio both were 100:0, 75:25, 50:50, 25:75, 0:100 (% w/w). manufacture set on target density 0.8 g/cm3 under press temperature 200o C 10 minutes. Mostly, shown be affected by composition between met Japan Industrial Standard A 5908:2003. value modulus elasticity, rupture, internal bond, screw holding ranged about 1.21-3.49 GPa, 12.77-20.24 MPa, 0.18-0.90 MPa 167.71-321.27 N. 50:50 has best physical mechanical requirement

Investigation of a New Natural Particleboard Adhesive Composed of Tannin and Sucrose. 2. Effect of Pressing Temperature and Time on Board Properties, and Characterization of Adhesive

In a previous study by the authors, particleboard was manufactured using a new natural adhesive composed of tannin and sucrose. The optimal ratio between tannin and sucrose was 25/75, and the suitable resin content was 30 to 40 wt%. In this study, the effects of hot pressing temperature and hot pressing time on board properties were investigated. The optimal values for the hot pressing temperat...

Low Density Sugarcane Bagasse Particleboard Bonded with Citric Acid and Sucrose: Effect of board density and additive content

The development of natural adhesives derived from non-fossil resources is very important for the future. In this study, by taking sugarcane bagasse as the raw material, without using any synthetic resin but adding some eco-friendly additives (citric acid and sucrose), low density particleboards were successfully developed. The effects of board density and additive contents on the physical and m...
